Our Story

Before our move back to Minnesota (where one of us was born and raised), we previously owned and managed a 30-acre pick-your-own farm (including an apple orchard with 6500+ trees) for four years in Illinois. We grew a vast array of fruits and vegetables year round (both in our fields and nine greenhouses). Our favorite u-pick season was of course, apple season! All year we patiently waited for the crisp, autumn air to fall as we knew that apple season was upon us. During the fall months, we held a large “fall festival” with face painting, pumpkin bowling, hay rack rides, a sanctuary-farm petting zoo, apple picking, pony rides, hay maze and most importantly, our wildly famous apple cider-flavored mini donuts! We made our apple cider mini donuts hot and fresh right inside our donut trailer while our customers watched and told us they “waited all year for this”!

After four amazing years on the farm, we made the decision to move back to the best state in the country, Minnesota! After leaving the farm, our customers begged us to keep making our wildly popular apple cider-flavored mini donuts. It was then that we took our apple cider donut making skills on the road and began popping up at other small business locations. Our customer base started with our farm and quickly spread like wildfire! When we moved to Minnesota we knew we wanted to continue doing this and wanted to name our truck something “Minnesotan” with an up north feel and… here we are! As a mobile donut cart, we have the ability travel around the state at small business “pop up” locations. We make and serve our delicious apple cider-flavored mini donuts on site, right in front of you, and serve them piping HOT (along with other seasonal refreshments like frozen lemonade, cider slushies, hot cider, crafted cold brew coffee with fun seasonal flavors and, hot chocolate with jumbo marshmallows and a Nutella drizzle)! Now, you don’t have to wait until apple season to get your apple cider donut fix...we’re going to bring them to you 9 months out of the year (we operate April-December)! Additionally, we are grateful to have partnered with the University of Minnesota’s Apple House located just down the street from the Arboretum out in Victoria in the Fall (September + October)! During these months, we operate a second truck that stays on site and is open Tuesday-Sunday 10AM-6PM August 24th through October 29th! Our original truck is still out on the road on weekdays and weekends popping up in new locations that we announce on Facebook and Instagram!
